Vancouver Weather: Storm knocks out power in Richmond, White Rock

The rain and wind storm sweeping the Lower Mainland has affected power in both Richmond and White Rock.

The storm has affected more than 3,500 homes and businesses in Richmond.

In White Rock, trees falling on power lines have affected more than 2,000.

Other small outages are noted in Sechelt, West Vancouver and Pemberton.

B.C. Hydro estimates that crews should have power restored shortly.
