She said there are 3,233 people now in isolation after being exposed to someone who was COVID-19 positive.
There are 15 active outbreaks in health care facilities — including one that occurred over the past three days at the Yaletown House nursing home, where one worker has tested positive.
Henry said there have been no new community outbreaks, but there are many community exposures.
A community outbreak is where more than one person at a location is infected (outside health-care facilities that declare outbreaks with a single case).
A community exposure occurs when a COVID-19 positive person attends a public space while sick, leading to anyone who they came into contact with being notified by health authorities.
Henry said there have been a number of exposures at schools in B.C., but no outbreaks or clusters. Most of the cases were adults, she said.
