Take a tropical vacation without living the city! The Bloedel Conservatory is a domed lush tropcial paradise featuring more than 120 free-flying exotic birds. More than 500 exotic and tropical plants and flowers thrive within its temperature-controlled environment. The Vancouver Park Board is reopened the Conservatory on July 13 with new physical distancing and operational procedures in place.

Britannia Mine Museum

Capilano Suspension Bridge Park

The 450 ft. long, 230 ft. high Capilano Suspension Bridge has thrilled visitors since 1889. Treetops Adventure features seven suspended footbridges offering views 110 feet above the forest floor. Cliffwalk follows a granite precipice along Capilano River with a labyrinth-like series of narrow cantilevered bridges, stairs and platforms.

FlyOver Canada

In accordance with the provincial government’s reopening protocols on cleaning, physical distancing and training, FlyOver Canada reopened on June 18. This attraction uses state-of-the-art technology to give you the feeling of flight. You will hang suspended, feet dangling, before a 20-metre spherical screen while the film whisks you away on a journey across Canada.

Science World

Science World welcomed back visitors on August 1 with enhanced safety protocols and physical distancing measures in place. Ticketing will be done through timed ticketed entry. Physical distancing protocols are in place, and face coverings are mandatory for visitors six years of age and over. Directional signage will safely guide visitors through the dome, and certain galleries will operate with limited capacity. The OMNIMAX Theatre and Towers of Tomorrow with LEGO Bricks can be reserved for a specific time, and there will be three live science shows per hour around the building for all visitors to enjoy.

UBC Botanical Garden

VanDusen Botanical Garden is now open under new guidelines to ensure public, member and staff safety. VanDusen is a 55-acre oasis in the heart of Vancouver with over 7,500 plant species and varieties from around the world.
