With classes back in session in British Columbia, everybody is anxious about possible COVID-19 exposure occurring inside schools.

In cases of confirmed exposures, the B.C. Centre of Disease Control says health officials will contact affected staff and students directly. Regional health authorities are also posting school notifications on their websites, providing the date and type of notification —whether its a possible exposure, a cluster of cases, or an outbreak — for impacted schools.

Those who may have been potentially exposed to COVID-19 virus are asked to monitor themselves for common symptoms.

Symptoms include fever, chills, cough or worsening of chronic cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, runny nose, loss of sense of smell or taste, headache, fatigue, diarrhea, loss of appetite, nausea and vomiting and muscle aches.

If you have symptoms, however mild, seek testing and immediately self-isolate.

Scroll down for a searchable database of active the school exposure events in B.C. The list will be updated as additional notices are issued.
